The virtual expert exchange on May 15, 2024 discusses how electricity suppliers can benefit from dynamic tariffs, smart meters and Section 14a EnWG.

On 15 May 2024, as part of the SET Hub pilot project jointly organized by the German Energy Agency (dena) and InnoCharge, a virtual expert exchange will take place on the topic of “How electricity suppliers benefit from dynamic tariffs, smart meters and Section 14a of the Energy Industry Act”. 

The program highlights innovative business models and digital solutions in the field of prosumer and e-mobility for modern municipal utilities. Among other things, the following topics will be presented:

  • Status quo of the prosumer market and implications of current energy industry developments for municipal utilities
  • Presentation of new business models for municipal utilities relating to smart charging (including market and grid-oriented control of charging processes, integration of local photovoltaic generation, peak shaving, etc.)

The presentations will be followed by a moderated expert exchange in which best practices and challenges relating to smart meters, dynamic tariffs and Section 14a EnWG will be discussed.

Participation for municipal utilities and energy suppliers is free of charge. To enable an interactive exchange, the number of participants is limited.
